Travel Technology Research are a small and friendly research and IT company based in Burnham, Bucks, working in the airline industry. You can find more information about us by following the links on this site.

Starting Summer 2011 we are making available several placements for work experience. The placements will be between 2 and 6 months and there can be flexible with the duration. We are confident that this will be of benefit to students, giving them hands-on experience in a research office. There will be opportunities for developing skills in Web based research, airline industry research, E-commerce research, investigation of software companies that provide travel and payments products plus use of spreadsheets and databases. Students may also assist in areas such as data modelling, digital image production, web development and exhibitions, depending on the their own skills and interests and the time of year. Training will be provided.

Ideally placements would be for 6 months, 3 days a week, 6 hours a day. It may be possible to offer 2 day per week positions during term time. We expect to be able to accommodate up to 3 places. This is work experience and so is not a paid position, however we pay expenses of around £33 per day.

Our offices are located on Burnham High Street. It is a 15 minute walk from Burnham and Taplow stations, on the main train line to Paddington. Burnham House, 93 High Street Burnham, Bucks,SL1 7JZ
